A friend of mine has 2 AKC Chocolate Labs in need of a good, permanent, loving home ASAP. They are 2 1/2 years old, great with kids, and very loving, BUT, being Labs, they have lots of energy and need more attention.
They just found out that they are pregnant with their 4th child in addition to some recently discovered health problems, and feel that this will take even more time away from the dogs, and that they deserve better.
Sadie is about 65 pounds, and Beemer is about 70. Both dogs sleep in the house - but it is recommended that Beemer sleep on a tie down or be confined to an Xpen.
Sadie has been spayed, Beemer has not been neutered but it is highly recommended that it be done, as he doesn't hunt, has never been shown.
Both dogs come with their own Igloo style dog house, beds, etc. THEY WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE FOR THE DOGS TO REMAIN TOGETHER. They are brother and sister and have never been separated.
It is not recommended that the dogs be kept on a ranch to roam free will as they've not been trained for that.
