...to their "foster" home at Strawberry Mountain Mustangs. COMET AT FEEDLOTDASHER AT FEEDLOTA HUGE thank you to everyone who helped save these two little boys. They are very precious. I'll try to get pictures soon - and promise to keep the board updated with "our boys" and their progress. (I can't wait until the day comes that I can share with you all that they have found their forever homes.) They appear fairly healthy, alert, but very tired after a long looong day in the trailer. An even bigger thank you to Kerrie - a real horse angel - as sweet and kind as can be - and so helpful to anyone who has questions or needs help with the process. Comet and Dasher send you big kisses Kerrie!!!! Darla

Kerrie is one of our favorites!! I know she and Heidi were hard at work trying to find spaces for all those babies! I'm also happy that these wo are together. I really think they could go as a pair and be a nice team.

Hee Hee - thanks for posting those Leanne! I think Dasher is the one with the apron blaze though. =) Comet is the smaller boy...
Dasher's big white mouth almost looks like clown makeup or something.

Yep Comet has a paint face and Dasher has a paint spot ... but while they aren't matched they would make a good team. They do look bigger! Do you think they are they weanling/yealings or long yearlings? Angi took one look at their pictures and said they are probably half Belgian.

They are not as big as they appear in those close up pictures, and Dasher is the one with the white spot on his side and Comet is the bigger one with the bald face, he moves really nice at the trot. They are said to be yearlings this year ( 2007) but of course that is what we were told, so who really knows!! My QH yearlings are bigger than these guys, so the pics are misleading.

OK, I switched the names again, and if they are still wrong, well just have to spray paint them different colors!
