Deb is going to send a bale of her current hay with her, so that will get her transitioned fine... and I will get her on our diet when she gets here... way too hard to figure out from 'afar'.... We are getting a new load of the low sugar pellets from Washington this week ourselves!! LOL!! we pay a hefty buck for shipping... but it's worth it... great stuff.. Sterret Brothers Hay and feed...
I will PM Deb and get directions... I dont' know either.... that IS where she is tho.
What I am told is that Mistletoe went off the lot when she got sick, and into the QT area. She got sick, and recovered there, and did NOT go back onto the lot at all.... so, she is 'clear' from the QT standpoint... as she has also had another 3 weeks at Debs this weekend... and shows no symptoms of any illness.
I called the vet and asked for Coggins and shots... have not heard back, but from afar that means nothing. He has my credit card number, so might just have gone and done it without calling me... and I have not had too much contact with Deb..... I'll try to find out!!! Thanks!!! Beth

If it's Mothergoose Deb, then I think she is in Morton, WA, which is a few hours from the lot. (Forgive me if I'm wrong. I drove it while exhausted and don't remember exactly). Just to say that if someone is going to the lot, that is not close to Deb unless they make a point to go thataway.
Wendy P emailed me awhile ago and asked if I could possibly house Mistletoe for a short time if a caravan got going. I am still open to that. I live in Bend, OR.
I'm out of extra bucks right now too, Beth. I can offer a temporary spot for her to lay her pretty little head though.
One other thing. I am going to Wenatchee for the Clinton Anderson clinic on February 9th (I think?). I don't plan on taking the horse trailer, but I certainly could if that could be arranged for Mistletoe to get to Wenatchee or Ephrata (I'm going back through Ephrata before heading home). I don't have a place for her to stay in Wenatchee, so we'd have to be strategic on WHEN she showed up there. Like, right as I was leaving. Anyway, if that helps, there you go...
MTA: email me please if you need this sort of help. I'm not good about checking for pm's. ljbrooks@bendcable.com

Thanks so much for the offer! I believe we have the ride 'done'... Quatzie is going up to Deb's to get her... and bring her to Corvallis... then Blazinsaddles is picking her up there, and taking her all the way 'home' to CA!!! It is very very exciting... this is working out great!! We've recieved $170 towards expenses... hoping to get a bit more... but due to the WAY gracious offers of two of our own... this WILL happen!! (I'd still like to pay for their gas if we can raise some more tho) Thanks for the good thoughts folks!!! and for the already recieved donations!!!

So glad to hear this is all working out. I loved this little gal and I'm the one that sent in the first $25.00 for her while she was still on the lot. Don't exactly know how that all gets transferred to the horse when they get pulled for whatever reason.
Will look forward to updates! I've been checking her thread every other day.
