Will do. I wish I had more than 1.5 acres of pasture and 20' run in, I would be on my way to get him. I have 2 riding horses already, 1 little ole pasture ornament wouldn't hurt nothing.

Rolling Dog sounds like such a wonderful final home for Morph. Has anyone contacted them to see if they could help with transport? Maybe meet part way? We could maybe work up a relay???
I would also be afraid of someone wanting him because of his color. So many people think they can make a horse into something they aren't....

RDR does not have room to take him in at this time. They know of his situation and if a spot opens up (due to a horse passing away) then the proper contacts will be made.

MTA: Morph is a unique and beautiful horse. I'm worried if he's rehomed someone will take him for his looks, but not worry about his blindness until it's too late. With rollingdog, do you have to pay for retirement there or do they work off general fund? He seems safe at blazin's until absolutely the best home can be found, so we need to help. Beckybee, I am worried about the same thing, and I am sure Blazin' is, too. As long as a blind horse is in a safe place and FEELS safe, all is good. But I worry so much about him as he just seems like such a sad orphan boy who has been passed around, AND he is going blind. The cataracts could progress slowly or quickly - nobody knows. But we must be so careful about where he goes. I am sad that Rolling Dog Ranch is full - they are amazing! In the meantime, Morph is safe with Blazin', but she needs $$$. Let's start pooling our funds together and sending them to her Paypal account: kustomhauling1@yahoo.com. I am sending $100 and two huge hugs for both Connie and Morph.

I would be happy to help any way I can, be it calling references, or screening applicants. Let me know....

you guys are all so great and yes i worry about someone wanting him for his color its unique and he is so loveable and he is just a ham he is safe here untill he either finds a forever home or we retire him with sponors ( which some people have also suggested)
i have to applogize i did not get the pics today because i had to unload 66 bales of hay between mine and carries place so we were in the dark by the time we got done i promise to shoot for tomorrow for pics of him. he had to come into the barn tonight cause its supposed to storm bad here

Yeah he does have cataracts and he could eventually loose all his site to them a few people have mentined surgery and my vet had mentioned a performance and show he has seen site results with on other blind horses
i am gonna read up on the performance and show from Transfer factors and will post info on it for everyone
ok so a suggestion has been made to do a board and call it the morphius fan club where everyone could go to view updates and pics of Morph would you guys like me to do That
there are a few people who would like morph to just stay at my place with sponsors to cover his monthly bills i have told them he is welcome to stay if there are sponsors to cover his monthly upkeep.
