Hi All -
Some friends of mine have a 10 year old son, a bit on the shorter side, who is looking for a sound roping horse. I'm not sure what they are looking to pay, but they'd prefer a gelding. He's been practicing on the family horses but they just aren't what he needs.
They're in Oakdale, so if anyone has one that may work please PM me. They've never done the rescue route before but DID check out those ranch horses in Nevada that needed homes, so I was very appreciative of that. Fortunately - all of those horses apparently already found homes...yeay!

MTA - these are long time family friends who've run a Pack Station outside of Yosemite since 1929.....they are very good to their horses and find homes for all of them once they've retired from packing. They just don't have what their grandson wants for roping available....
