I really applaud Ellen for being the vocal animal lover she is, once again she's showed her true compassion for her four legged friends.
on Ellen today, Willie Nelson was on, they did a plug on dog fighting and horse slaughter. She is putting a link on her website that talks about the horse slaughter issue.
GOOD FOR HER.

I saw Willie Nelson in concert last week!! (Religious experience here for me and my husband ---- we are hard core, long-time Willie fans!!) We had these amazing seats that put us right above the stage, almost like box seats, and we could see everything up close. We stayed in our seats after the show to watch Willie in action with his fans.
At the end, people lined up along the stage and dear old Willie spent about 20 minutes signing autographs and posing for photos until there was no one left in the auditorium but him, the band, and a few fans. The band played background music and kept rolling their eyes at each other as Willie signed on and on and on. His biggest smile came when a lady handed him an old leather horse halter to sign....His eyes lit up in such a sweet way. You could tell how much he liked signing that halter. He is doing good things for horses. Now he has Toby Keith helping! And Ellen!

Really!! I saw him in concert!! For my birthday, last year!! It was AMAZING!! I am hoping to go to the Oregon Jamboree this year to see Sugarland  I would be in heaven, AND I get to go to a PBR event in March!! YAHOO! Whoa whoa whoa. Toby Keith is helping slaughter bound horses now?? OHHH MOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!! |

My mum is IN LOVE with Toby Keith....if she knew he was helping out my mum would probably be out putting posters up all the time for us!! Can't wait to break the news

You shouldda seen the outer limits of the parking lot before the Willie concert....
