You get the first bale of shavings free with the stall, all others you buy from the fairgrounds staff 5$ per bale. Make sure you have contacted Debbie Lamping aka Mothergoose to have her make your stall plaque. mothergoose66@centurytel.net (ask Deb about passes to get in as well) Saturday evening we are having a short Rescue horse parade around the arena, make sure you horses are beautiful!! We can start bringing horses in Friday at 10 am. Other things to bring: Food for you and your horse Chairs to sit in while representing Water buckets Hay bag Horsey stuff to make them beautiful! See you guys there!

Can we bring our own shavings? Gail emailed me that, "There is bedding available on the grounds. All stalls have first bedding (done by the Fairgrounds staff) and additional bales are available at $5.00 each. You can bring your own bedding and there is nothing that is prohibited." Gail also said, "If you have a weekend stall booked you can arrive on Thursday (between 9:00 am – 6:00 pm) or Friday (8:00 am onward). You can depart Saturday if you are not planning to demo or ride on Sunday prior to 9:30 pm, the gates will be locked overnight, and security is on duty. The warmup arena will be open at times throughout the day, but please keep in mind that it will also be used by the clinic riders. For the inside arena it would be best to check with the Show Office prior to using that one, but you should be able to have the horses in there on Friday morning, prior to the Expo opening. There are going to time limits for access to the ground, as I’m sure you understand we can’t have the general public coming and going whenever they like. Riders and horse handlers will have access from 7:00am – 10;00pm Friday; 7:00 am – 10:00 pm on Saturday; 7:00 am – 7:00 pm on Sunday." Gail also said, "Yes, you need a Health Certificate and Brand Inspection to your horse from Oregon, but Coggins is not required.". I think those were the high points of what her answers to my questions were. Gail is the person who responded to my email to the Mane Event coordinators. modified to add when I say Mane Event Coordinators I don't meant the individuals who are coordinators for just CBER, but the coordinators for the entire event.
