Hey everyone -
Here in Douglas County Oregon we have another great rescue group trying to get on their legs. I worked closely with this woman while I was with the State Courts. Julie Zuver is an Assistant Deputy District Attorney for Do Co - and a HUGE advocate for animals. She really pushes this county to prosecute neglect/abuse/abandonment cases - I've seen it first hand. She has pushed our animal control officers to get themselves educated, and she has taken them out to get their HANDS ON horses to feel them, see them up close, examine feet, look at feed etc.
Julie is working on her 501c3 status - but it's an overwhelming process - I know that first hand. She works 40+ hrs every week dealing with the horrible crimes she prosecutes - and comes home to help all of her rescues. Last I heard - she had over FORTY rescue horses.
Julie does not have internet at home. She has MANY very nice horses, she loves arabs especially I think, but has no way to market them. Some of these horses are very well bred and registered as well.
Is there a website guru out there who would be willing to donate some time to set up a very basic site for Julie? It would basically be a photo album - I'm close enough I could take digital pictures and email them - or send a cd.
Any volunteers?

Just found this again... Michelle and Tasha have offered to help Julie. Hopefully they've been in touch?
Julie's email - if anyone is interested or needs more info (or wants to help too) is rescueranch@earthlink.net
LOTS of nice horses there....
