Chavez was emaciated last summer. Now he's healthy and enjoying life. I like the snow on his muzzle in this picture. I also like that it looks like his mom slicked his hair back with her hand to get it out of his eyes. ;D  |

Oh, Lisa ... Chavez looks incredible! He is SO beautiful I mean handsome. What an amazing boy with an incredible story. You have worked your love on him.  How is Sarge, by the way? I think about him and that little A la Mode daily and hope they are healthy and happy, which I am sure they are as you work magic with these creatures. It's amazing how much hair mustangs get in the winter. Pal looks like a bear! What a cute photo this is, I love the frost on his muzzle, looks like he was playing in the sugar jar!!

It ALMOST makes me wish we had snow! But man am I glad we don't! I love this boy's thread, he is so regal looking (even when he does look like the kid who got caught with his fingers in the cookie jar) and he has endured so much.
