www.thoroughbrednet.us/discussions/uploads/1172184274/gallery_640_10_55636.jpgThat WAS his track name...and he was a promising young fella until a suspensory rupture ending his rather lucrative career! Off to a rescue...fate uncertain at best....and I picked him up and gave him to a young polo playing kid as a "character & Horsemanship" training excercise. Spent 3 months with stall rest, hand/lead rope walks, 15 minutes cold water on the injury, etc...That was a year ago. Now? He's healed to 97 percent on that rupture according to the last ultra sound last fall. Dare has turned into a hearty horse, doing LOTS of trail riding, still totally sound. Nice feet and good legs...actually went on a very long one trail ride with his partner in life just yesterday..several hours along the snowmobile trails around here. Miles and Miles. Here's what he was doing this winter.... www.thoroughbrednet.us/discussions/uploads/1172184274/gallery_640_10_80421.jpgHe's in the back ground with his partner in life following thru with that mallet. Forground is yet another rescue, "Cat Bite"; who was in very bad shape apon arrival two years ago..thats another story.
