Where do you think the best place in the USA to live is?
Based on having horse-friendly neighbors, cost of real estate, few bugs, cost of living, low taxes, farm-friendly government, well paying jobs, good schools, clean town, low crime, snow in the winter, and some heat in the summer, (but not REALLY hot/humid).

here is not to bad. We are close to the mtns. actually we are in the foothills. the river is in the back of the property we do get snow and it is warmer here in the summer than in Olympia. The homes are pretty decent in price but are going up. There are tons of trails and places to go.

The picture at the top of the page is in Bend, OR......................but it's too late to move here - our prices are really high, taxes are high, it's always on the top 10 best places to live, so it's growing really fast, BUT - very few bugs, 4 seasons, great summers, snowy winters, lots of places to ride, lots of lakes/streams/campgrounds, Mt Bachelor for the snowskiers, no sales tax, big Horse country - lots of horse groups to join/ride with. It really is a nice place to live.............and close enough to the feedlot to pick up horses, but not so close that I can go visit!!!!!!!!!!
