We've had Sandman for a lil over 6mths now. Years ago he was an endurance horse but it was discovered that he had a slight heart murmur so he was retired from that and then sent off to a children's rehabilitation riding school.
He was there for two years before it was determined that it wasn't the best place for him so then was passed on to the girl I got him from.
She'd been looking for a bombproof trail horse but he can be a lil spooky at times.....which is where we came in.
He's been great....is just a lil pushy when the kids try handling him but as far as having them in saddle he's Mr. Mellow.
Cutest thing about him is that when he's worried or unsure he whistles through his nostrils!
