3/21/07: Lucky Kingston has found a home!!!!! Congratulations to his new family. 11- 13 year old, 15h Arab gelding. Kingston has three shoes, he is missing a hind shoe. He was good on the ground, easy in the halter, backed, led, respected your space.... He picked up his feet super easy and was willing to do anything asked of him. He is gentle on the ground and was just nice to be around. Sound at time of assessment. PLACEMENT SPECIALIST: Heidi Antone - CreeksideAQHA@aol.comwww.columbiabasinequinerescue.org/DEF-HorsesProfile.asp?HoID=644$475ADOPTER: Unknown but Kingston is living in Canada.

Jessiegirl- maybe this horse would work for your nine year old would be adopter! He looks similar to last week's boy, so if she wants a light colored 'princess' horse, just maybe.....
and he is MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE!

I like the look of Arabians- those dark almond eyes, that tail up, (which, btw, makes them always look like they're ready to poop! ;D) Very elegant with a touch of humor- adorable.

I love how sam is picking up his hoof, on the cell phone, with NO ONE holding the lead rope. LOL!! Unsafe- but VERY cute. He looks like a nice calm boy.

Um, what about those paints w/ color on only about 10% of their bodies? ? Diva made a glorious mess of herself in turnout the other day, and then she got up and looked at me like "ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!! Get me out of here!" Awe, he is just tooo cute, looks like my Dusty boy, including the dirt! ;D What is it with grey arabs and mud puddles?

Anyone that is considering any of these available lot horses should get their applications in now if they're not already approved, and contact the Placement Specialist to advise their interest and their approval status.
No word yet on the next truck, or how much notice we'll be given, but more than likely it will be soon.

This boys at a good age - some of that younger horse silliness should be behind him, and once cleaned up he's going to shine! Considering he's been shod - he's more than likely at least been started, if not broke. Let's get him a home!

Golly he is in his prime, my arabs are in their late teens, and are energizer bunnies.

In August I adopted Solomon. (Who I renamed Jet.) He's twice the age of Kingston, and still going strong. I absolutely love him! Kingston looks so sweet and so sad. This just isn't right. I can contribute $100. toward getting Kingston out. And, if need be, Suploma will take him. Lets not let him go!

I love his face (okay, yes, they ALL have my number I'm woman enough to admit it!) App is still pending...sent her an email today for alternate refs and to confirm her interest. In the meantime, it looks like we have 2 backup home offers, is that correct? ? I'm around most of the weekend, so if anyone wants to submit an application for him....please do so at www.columbiabasinequinerescue.org (for anyone that's new) *** need 2 references (minimum, and only one relative, please! *** need pics of the facility (hay storage, shelters, fencing, paddocks, stalls, etc. - anywhere the horse would be kept) *** pics of your current horses are a HUGE help (if applicable)
