16 - 18 year old, 14h, bay Arab type mare. Easy to catch and ride. Good on the ground, gentle lifts feet easily. Nice to ride, plow reins, does not respond well to leg pressure but all and all she was very pleasant to handle and ride. After being assessed she stuck around for more attention.

She's got her head down and she's just moving out as her rider wanted. She appears to be very down to earth and business-like and very reliable. . .in a halter! And, she followed the volunteers around afterwards. She's a companion horse! Looks like her fee is down to $475 now!

Arabians are usually people oriented horses. In the ancient days they lived in the tents with their owners. I think that is why they like to be given attention and they return the favor by giving it back to you. Almost all of my arabians will follow me around for loves and petting.

She is the perfect age for a younger rider too.
They did not mention any defects in her so she looks pretty darn good to me.
Some on out there must be looking for a horse to spoil.

I will always remember Lavender and Meadow.
Two beautiful Arabian mares I helped bail.
Columbia Basin Equine Rescue put them down by the "Shot and Left to Rot" method.
