She has good teeth & I think just needs FOOD, she hasn't left the feeder since she arrived at the lot. She was easy to catch, nice to ride, move sound, picks up her feet..overall a nice mare, that anyone could ride.

I'm gonna guess wormy, she came in with a gelding that was very very thin. She was dropped off by a private party.

I put her on an Arabian board and a poster from there sent me a message that they had sent some money for her. I don't know how much but every bit helps. Has there been any home offers for her?

What a sweetie.
The poor thing -- her barrel looks like Cloud's did, so I'd guess wormy, too.
She looks sad and disconnected, and so very, very humbled. It's heartbreaking to actually SEE the wear on a horse's spirit.

Who is Tina's PS? I will offer a home if no one else does but, I can't do all that much money wise. I am not trying to get a free horse or anything I just can't see her so sad. Poor girl. I will see what I can do as to help for funds but I won't be able to do much. Orrrrr.....what about a foster? I will gladly foster any horse if its means to save them. MTA: Duh Mindy. yep. I applied when the little QH colt last month. I had hotmail email then and it must have threw out the approval email so I didn't get to adopt him. Chex I think his name was. Cute little guy that I wish we could get updates on, Another one that just has that lost look in their eyes and almost look like they've taken the defeat in stride. This whole lot of horses has been so sad and stressful. I just pray to God, even if I don't get to adopt any of them that they get a warm caring home somehow.

Ok. Beings that I'm new at adopting from CBER I need some info. How soon do I have to pay QT? I mean can it wait a few weeks? If so, I will just need help with bail money. Also, does anyone know where she would be QTed? How much is transport gonna cost? I wish so bad I could pay it all and up front at that but I spent dang near my whole horse fund once again on having the vet come out for Ruger. I thought I had enough built up after having to put Maggie down last month but to no avail. Seems every time things start going good they get real bad. How do you become a foster home for CBER horses? I would really like to do that because then I can keep bringing horses home and helping find them permanent homes. Maybe get more horses off the lot. Ya know what I mean? I hope I explained that good.
