 This is Shilo, 23 yrs old. We bought him six mo. ago for 150.00, he was under weight and sick. Shilo has COPD. Six mo. later he is feeling good and is a great kids horse. The best 150.00 I ever spent. He loves to be brushed by my daughter and he has picked her as his favorate! ;D |

What a cutie (horse and child!!). I'm having trouble figuring out what CODP stands for. Looks to me like a very well spent $150.

The association of high numbers of eosinophils with COPD suggests allergic, infectious, and/or toxicologic etiologies for the condition.

Sorry, it's COPD or heaves. It's like smoker's cough in humans. He can only be used for light use and it will never go away, but we have been able to get rid of the cough so he can even be a little spunky now and then. He's a great horse and my kids just love him.

Well Mr. Shilo has found a new home. We were not looking for a new home for him it just sort of happened. He is now a first horse to a 3 & 4 yr. old boy and an 8 yr. old girl. There dad is a trainer and has nothing for his step kids to ride and just wanted something that they could learn on and just walk in the round pen. He is on 20 ac of green grass and that is soooo much better for his heaves.
