CHLORIS - Older QH/Paint type frosty chestnut mare with Bald face and 4 white socks. Came in with Chili. She is protective of herself and him, appears sound and is about 15 hands. We will get more pics soon and assess more next time at lot. For Adoption Only.

Update: Chloris was a good girl today and was no trouble to saddle and ride, she is sick however, so we did not do much, she needs some care as she has strangles abcesses that have burst poor girl.

hi all just thought i would give a little update ,per ryan,chloris has been staying with ryan since leaving the lot until she can come home,thank you thank you ryan,she has been getting some meds to help her feel better and ryan said she is feeling a little better ,thank you agian ryan for taking care of our girl.

hi all chloris now (kamaria ) is home she came home with her new pal wiggles ,she is very shy and quite ,when ryan and iand her husband were trying to get her in the trailer the poor dear was so scared she was shaking ,she needs lots of love and attention and about another 100 lbs ,but is very sweet .will post pics later today.

chloris has been with ryan since the first of june and wiggles was with sam for ten days but i don't know how long they were on the lot for sure.

What a lovely pasture. . .and area. So happy for her. She'll be able to adjust to feeling safe. Poor babe. It's hard to see them shaking so hard and so afraid of what is coming next. . .but, being willing to trust you enough that they will be safe if they do what you ask is a huge statement to their character. hi guys just a quick update ,chloris is putting on some much needed wieght and is loving being on all that grass,she is very timid but also very sweet,when trimming her feet she actually fell alseep,she is a very good girl all in all.

hi guys just wanted to give a quick update,chloris now kamaria,is doing great she is putting on wieght steadly and loosing all the yucky hair she had and growing a nice new coat,her strangles have healed nicely from the great care she got while she was at ryan's,you can't even tell where they were,i will post new pics soon.

wanted to add that chloris is gaining wieght and starting to look better ,we had to put some baby sun screen on her nose as it is very pink and she was getting very sunburned but it is getting better now and she is too.

I'm so glad Kamaria (is it "Ka Maria", or "Kam aria", or ??) is doing well with you. She was a favorite of mine at the lot at that time. I'm happy she'll be with someone who will work through her insecurities. She wants to trust. You are great for taking her. Love all the pics!!!

a little update for you guys,kamaria and i had our first ride today,she is a very good girl,she neck riens like a dream and stops on comand of your voice,she is very relaxed and willing to please,she has a very nice little jog to her ,and a very big stride,well i will update agian when i get some pics.

ya know she really put on the weight for being an older girl,my vet guessed her right around 18,but you can't tell her that when your riding,she thinks she's much younger,but a very good girl.

hi all just thought i would give a quick update on kamaria,she is do great ,such a sweetie and becoming more freindly by the day .when she came here she wouldn't let us catch her without a big chase,now she comes up to us and isn't as nervous.she has gianed alot of wieght and just had her feet trimmed yesterday.she really has the funnyest whinnie when she whinnes her whole body shakes,it is really cute.will update pics in the next few days.

hi all just thought i would update real quick kamaria is doing great she is now at the point that she has gianed alot of wieght and is feeling her best,she is now able to be turned out in the pasture without a halter and you don't have to play chase ,she will stand for you to catch and halter her ,yay one big step there,will post photo's soon.
