$40018 months, two blue eyes, chestnut paint colt gelding. This colt gelding is very sweet and has been worked with. He is gentle on the ground and responsive in the halter, he willingly picked up his front and back feet. He was sound at time of assessment, is well put together and kind. He led and backed better than some adult horses. This youngster probably doe not have a built up immunity so a quick adoption to avoid illness is advised. He's going to be a great project for someone, and the basics are in place already! Have questions? Want to add him to your family? Contact Heidi Antonie @ CreeksideAQHA@aol.com

Even though the heading says chestnut paint cold, I figure they meant colt. Which would mean he is not gelded, otherwise it shoud say gelding.

Oh my gosh!!! We love this boy! Does anyone know how tall he is at the moment? Well Sam is 5.8 or 5.9 so he is pretty tall I would say 14.3 or 15 hands.............

Yup, based on photos I have of Sam next to Sierra, who is 14.3, I would say that is right in the ball park. Pintaloosa anyone??

If he is gelded you might want to change his thread heading from cold(colt) to gelding. He might draw more interest if people know they do not have to go through the added expense of the gelding surgery. He is a very nice looking boy.

If he's only 18mths, then he's still considered a colt...he's just a kid! He would fit in nicely with Snitch and Chippy.....Husband is shaking head no, I am begging.....dang!

Help me to save him and I can .......I just cannot do it ALL alone. He and Huckleberry can come here. But I need help. $$$ Or should I say....CBER and Sam to Quarrantine and Vet and Trailer, so it is not ME needing money it is the horses temporary caregivers. The bigger expenses start when they get home! ;D

That mane is the Appy in him, believe me. It will comb out easily, there isn't much there, and what is there will be soft. Brushfire mane. He is really colorful and sweet. Someone really needs to get this pretty fellow off the lot.

I emailed Sam today about Luminary today because I wanted to know if he was a gelding or a colt for Pet Finder. This was her response to me.
Hi Jackie,
Chuck does not know. His testicles have not dropped so it is an unknown, that is why he is listed as a colt. I would put what the site says. All descriptions should be the same as the site anyway.
Thanks,
Sam

He is not an appy he is a splash overo paint, pretty common around here as there are some paint stallions in the area like him.

Hmmm. I have seen those around here too, but not with that much mix in the white areas. The skin on his muzzle looks mottled, and I am wondering if his hooves are stripped? It doesn't really matter, he is stunning as all get out!

Okay- I have NOT heard anything regarding a shipment, however, if anyone is considering Huckleberry, Luminary or Pebbles, they should probably start making their decisions. Get your application in, send pictures, and let the PS know you're interested. I'm hoping we get notice before the next truck but there are never any guarantees, and these horses are all too nice to ship.
