25+, 14.2h at the wither, chestnut paint mare. This older gal was easy to handle and quiet on the ground. She willingly picked up her front feet as well as her back feet. She was easy to ride, was not scared (but I was) of the cows in the pen with her. She needs weight and love but will make an excellent confidence builder.

AWE this one just breaks my heart. We're having a neighbourhood garage sale tomorrow. I have a few bridles, and a show halter I'm trying to sell. Any money I make off those, will go to this girl!!!!!!

I saw the following post by you in the General section...., so I'm copying it here w/ the response as well. Please make sure no funds are sent by FOB's or here from the board until placement is confirmed w/ Heidi and she gives the okay to send funds.......I know you're aware of this, but some do not as yet. Trying to avoid confusion! Thank you!

That would be fine, however:

1 - Essence needs a home offer with an approved adopter (confirmed w/ the PS before funds are sent; the PS needs to approve the home) or Essence will also need continued support for QT/Board until she's adopted, as well as any farrier and vet care required while she's being boarded.

2 - Please tell them to NOT SEND ANY FUNDS, until A - total bail has been pledged, and B - the Placement Specialist has ok'd to send the money. Also, the PS will need to confirm if she's going to a home, needing support, etc. Those arrangements need to be made before the horse is paid for or comes off the lot.

3 - If someone steps up in the meantime to adopt her outright, as long as they are an approved adopter and qualified for that particular horse and whatever needs it may have, that will take precedence over group bail and foster/sponsor. That has always been the policy. A permanent, loving home is preferred to continued foster care or being sponsored by CBER, as that is in the best interest of the horse. Hence, not sending donated funds until confirmed with the Placement Specialist.

Yup, I read over on the TWR/FOB board that they had raised the funds and she was bailed along with Dallas. Leosolis has adopted them both!!! They are safe in QT at a facility near Leo (that's what I read ).
