~ THIS BOY HAS A HOME OFFER, BUT HE WILL SHIP IF WE CAN'T RAISE FUNDS ~5 - 6 year old, 15h, Leopard appy gelding. All this guy wants is a friend. He does not know much but is willing and tries to do what is asked of him. He gave to pressure great in the halter and seems like someone has spent time with him on ground manners. He rode like he had not been ridden before but did not buck or do anything naughty he just did not know what to do. he would not really move forward without being led. If trained correctly he should be a wonderful horse. Please contact Wendy DeGraaf for more information.EMAIL:cberwendy@earthlink.net$570.00HOME OFFERS: violetacresQT DONATIONS: BAIL PLEDGES: $50 swissgrl $50 MustangAppyTOTAL BAIL PLEDGED: $100 TOTAL BAIL STILL NEEDED: $470

I am in real trouble. I have always wanted a leopard Appy. And with Raden also needing a home, I am really torn. My gut is in a knot.

His name needs to be SPOT. hehe No one would ever guess that one.
What a NICE boy! A little Lady Clairol and you could make him a bay, hide him in the herd, wait till it grows out and tell the hubby, oh my..didn't he shed out nice!

look at those pretty manners. Someone needs to take him home and use him in a parade. I can picture him and rider in full native american dress. His rump is prime for for Indian paint. He looks like a GOOD chief pony or Indian princess pony.

Have been at husband about this boy again. Bottom line, we just can't pull together enough money to bail, quarantine, and transport. All I can do is cheer-lead, and start him out with a $50 pledge. Anyone else?

Husband is waivering....it's not impossible, just very difficult. One hurtle is not a problem, though, I am pre-approved to adopt through CBER. I would have to talk with Tango's placement person, since my application is about 2 years old, but our property hasn't changed. We adopted Lolita (Sierra) last year.

MustangAppy, if the 'Dawg can help you at all, let me know. I have two leopard appaloosas now, and they are AMAZING. I saw this little guy and fell in love so hard. I would take him in a millisecond if I were not full up now. I promise you - you will NOT be sorry. I get a feeling about these guys, and I have a stronger feeling about him than I have had about some of my now true loves at my ranch! There is something very, very special about Tango. He knows it. And I think you know it ...

IF he can be bailed and quarantined, Husband has tentatively agreed to foster until placed, but it will be a bit of figuring out how to get him to me. Please, if you are interested in adopting this boy, jump in here now. No waiting for the next truck, because even paid for horses aren't safe, as happened last round.

Just an FYI, if your app is older then our new website (May 06) then you will be required to re-submit. The app has changed along with the agreement... and no one can adopt a horse until an approved app is in the new database. Generally if you have been approved before, it is more of a formality, but that depends on if they can find the staff comments pertaining to the original app.

Yup, it is older, we brought Sierra home in May, and we had gone through the application process the year before. I will head over there now.

Per Tango's placement specialist, he may have a home, waiting on word. We will be back up if he needs fostering.

He would only be a foster here, so if someone likes him, please step up. There are more horses being listed, and that means a truck is on the way.

GAAA!!! TOO MANY APPYS!!! If I had to choose one permanently for our home, though, it would have to be Pop Corn. He is big enough for Brian, and I promised I wouldn't bring home any more horses too small for him to ride unless they were fosters. We are leaving on vacation tomorrow, so the stupid truck couldn't be coming at a worse time. I don't know what I can get done today, with all I am doing to get ready for the trip. I feel like bursting into tears...

I do! But can't . I would be in deep poo-doo if he showed up at my house in 30 days. Plus, I already asked Daddy dearest and he said no. He said you have to first make the money and then get all the horses you want, not get all the horses and wonder where the heck all the money is.
