Roz is a 4 - 6 year old, 15h, sorrel & white overo paint mare. This mare is nicely put together, has strong stout build was gentle to handle but does not know much. She was quiet to tack up, stood nicely for John to get on her but did not respond when ridden. She had to be led to get to move forward so it is easy to say that she has not been ridden much if at all. She did not buck or do anything naughty she just needs to be trained.

This great offer sounds like a backup home and then funds would be needed...we need an update.

I asked for confirmation whether Roz has a firm home offer or not, but was not given an answer. I think not, at this point.

A home was just offered if the adopter needed a place to keep ROZ for awhile....so NO, no firm home offer at this point.

No answer yet from Kirsten....pretty busy...maybe you better email a couple of your Paint Breeder friends...with her photo...wouldn't be the first time a horse sold in good faith is later found at a feedlot....but we need to hurry!!!

OK, everyone please do not forget this beautiful sweet Paint. She is quiet and willing to learn. It is not her fault she has not been trained! Let's get her trained and on to a new life.... Roz has a back up home so we can all chip in some critical funds now that we have till 5:00pm today.

This is our chance. This is her only chance.

I think this is a crying shame that this beautiful Paint mare is not bailed here and we have a home offer too...

How can this rescue continue if we cannot bail these beautiful, healthy horses anymore??

It WOULD be sad to lose so many nice ones, but to beat my drum again...exposure everywhere is what the horses need...and it needs to be far reaching too, all over the country and across the Internet.

So, let's still work for Roz- she has a FIRM home offer and QT and hauling paid for...she just needs bail!
