Sandy - 18 y/o - 13.3hh - Chestnut Jenny
Post by cybercat on Oct 6, 2006, 2:04pm
Sandy - 18 year old, 13.3h, chestnut Jenny. She is sweet but scared down at the lot. She picked up her front feet but we scared to pick up her hind feet. She was a little pushy on the ground but she was gentled and listened to our general cues. She appears to have a left hind club foot but was sound at time of assessment.

This is sweet scared little Sandy...a pony sized mule. Isn't she pretty? I think she looks like part Haflinger... On the other board, a new member named bugsy has offered to possibly bail Sandy...the offer was made for Blue, also.

There is some discussion of her on the other board. A couple of people are interested, including equinelongears but need help with bail. Equinelongears would be a great home for her - she's so experienced with mules.

Hi All!
Yes I am interested in Sandy, but the upfront cash is a problem. I have my critters on a beautiful 10 acre field with lots of grass and shelter, a large wooded, metal sided biulding and very large cedars if they are outside, and a winter blanket waiting. I feed LMF grains and I'm a farrier, so she'd be taken care of all around!! I just need help getting her out of there, does anyone want to get this cute mule off the lot? Mules desrve just the same chance as the horses....anyone willing to help?? Let me know. This winter they are all getting their teeth checked again too. Trust me , she'd be well taken care of and I know my "ass"!!!!

The market for the long-ears is much narrower than for the horses, we have to work EXTRA HARD to help Sandy!!
We have a generous offer from equinelongears, above, let's raise some cash and get her moved off the lot before she gets sick too!
