O.K. I can pay $200 right now towards Rooky.
Plus I'm guessing my gas would be about $150.00 or so to the feedlot. If you guys can help bail her, I will give her a good home.
My farrier doesn't hardly charge anything for rescue horses, so I'm not worried about proper care for her feet.

We have a chance to save two horses for sure - Rooky and Wynonna. Rooky only needs $300, and to make it look like even less I will kick in another $25 (that's a total of $100 from me, I think) So now she only needs $275.
Please help these two mares, we are too close to making their bail to let them ship.

Draft76 if you have the money to bail her then send it in now, so she doesn't ship. I was the first person who offered her a GA home, but if you adopt her outright, then you are the adopter.
I offered her a home based on pledges for her bail, including my $200. I haven't changed my offer, just know my limits right now. I need to pay for gas, vet , chiro. , farrier, worming, supplement, vacinnations as soon as I get her. That adds up quick , as we all know.

no, you are not the only one...
if draft76 bails Rooky, it would be an outright adoption, so she gets first dibs...
A local person (darbyking) went to look at Rooky- wanted her- then said she couldn't get the money...
Poor alli has been patiently waiting for this to take place...she's local, can transport, has funding both of her own money and ours so its a GA, and second dibs...so she has to wait until it plays out.
I was asking if her PS has a bail tally total yet for the funds that were already sent in, so we know what we need to cover if alli is taking Rooky...
I have an email into the PS, so let's see if we can get some clarity here....

When split-second decisions are made at the feedlot, the CBER volunteers need to know in the back of their minds which horses have interest and which don't. By having created that awareness, you helped to shroud Rooky in safety.
