Britany- 7 y/o - 15.1hh - Bay TB type Mare

Britany - 7 year old, 15.1h, bay TB type mare. Britany was shy and not easy to catch, but settled down once we put the halter on. She is eager to please and very respectful on the ground. She is well put together and has an athletic build, suitable for any discipline. She willingly picked up her front feet but was nervous about her hind end. She trotted sound on the concrete and was super sweet and willing to please.

What is going on with this girl? There is only one horse listed who has been on the lot longer than her and that one has only been there a day longer and is registered.

I heard back from her PS. She has no activity and according to her PS is "a lovely girl"

Anyone out there want to give this mare a home? I have the feeling she is the highest at risk horse since she has been there the longest and has that spot/growth/whatever it is on her neck.

I'm going to repeat my offer for a SHORT-TERM loan for anyone who would like to adopt Britany. I would need the money back within a couple weeks because I have expenses getting Floppy back east!!!
I'm going to bed 11 pm EST (8 pm your time). I'll check the other board in the morning ( I won't have time to check this one!!) but I'll be at work all day and will not have access to a computer. I'm sorry that this is the best I can do for this mare.

bjrudq- welcome to the group! There are usually a couple of lag times that take place when a donation is sent in- one when the donation gets to CBER and then another whenever a CBER volunteer can update the Pull Fund thread. That's why we usually just do an unofficial tally here on the board...I'll add your pledge to the top here! Thanks so much!

that $25 pledge cannot really be counted, because we are not allowed to transfer funds between horses anymore. Its too difficult for CBER to Keep track of. Now if it is a pledge that has not been sent in yet, then we can count it here on this board.
Does that make sense? I'm on a sugar high, and feel it badly...

her growth is in the right spot to be from rubbing on a fence? may not be a growth? The grass is always greener on the other side. Beautiful horse!!!
