Marci - 16 y/o - 15.1hh - Bay TB Mare

Marci - 16 year old, 15.1h, bay TB mare. Marci is very gentle on the ground but not sound due to a bad split on the left front. We did not ride her because of the split but she is tatooed so she has been ridden and is track broke. She is a sweet mare that gets along well with other horses. With some corrective farrier care she should make a nice pleasure mount.
UPDATE: We have a benefactor who has offered to pay for Marci's first farrier call, which will start her on the road to recovery. This offer of help is made to anyone wanting to adopt Marci, but who may be concerned about her foot. Our donor has had experience in growing out this kind of crack with her own horse, and said that although it takes time and farrier care, it can be done. If you are interested in adopting this nice mare, here's your chance to get some great help!

There's an offer to pay for farrier care on this mare's cracked hoof. She won't be sound until that's taken care of, and can be fixed relatively easily while the hoof grows out.
A cracked hoof shouldn't be a death sentence!

She has wonderful conformation to do anything. Those cracks in the front wall can be very painful; they just need to be stablized and allowed to grow out. Her attitude and conformation are definately worth the farrier care.

Let's start raising some funds for Marci, that cracked hoof makes her a target for the truck.

I am in for $50 as well. Bryn has good reasons to want that mare off the lot (even if she cannot adopt her herself) and I want to help bryn to thank her for all she does for the horses... Let me know if and when I have to send it. Have not sent anything to Cber in a long time. Is this a pledge only at this time then?

I find it simpler to go to the PayPal site, then type in the recipient address. I know that there is a place for comments there, so I indicated it was for Marci in there.. then I sent a copy of my completed transaction to heidi.
Sometimes when you link directly to the paypal acct, there is no room to add comments.
