Status: Adopted Price: 800 Arrived: 4/23/2006
Age: 20 years Height: 15.3hh Weight:
Gender: Mare Primary Color: Black/ brown Secondary Color: Brown
Type: Riding Breed: Thoroughbred Registration: Registered
Condition: Sound Temperament: Sweet Training:
FANCY - 20 year old, 15.3h, Blk.brown registered TB mare. This mare was winner at track and as a producer, she is a lovely big bodied mare, we have her papers. She is very friendly sweet girl. Her current adoption didn't work out through no fault of hers. This girl needs a forever home and someone she can bond with.
Prospect Glory Be (Fancy) has great bloodlines, and her son was an Oregon champion multiple times making close to $100,000. She has earned her retirement many times over.
3/06 Update- Ok, we rode Fancy tonight for about a half an hour and she did great! She is high strung so she needs someone who knows what they are doing (of course she is, she is a race horse) So a refresher course would be great for her. Otherwise she is awesome.. no issues what so ever. So, that answers the question if she is broke or not.. so all of you who were waiting to adopt her until you found out if she was ridable..its time to come forward. She is well worth the price, she has a great personality and you can ride her.. what more do you want?
5/06 update- We've taken Fancy on two more trail rides since my last post. She's a real doll and a pleasure to ride. The person who buys her will have a very calm, reliable riding horse. For Adoption Only.
