The person that was adopting him has dropped off the face of the earth.. So we still need to find him a home..

He IS off the lot, though, right? Or am I too tired to think straight?

We had everything in place for him at one time on the board. Is that still a go?

Nancy and Becky were going to bail him but I don't know if they can still do that. Nancy put her money towards collista..

Clarification....whoever steps up first to adopt one of the TBs ~ Cork, Collista, Chandon or Fizzle ~ gets the money!

Cork still needs bail before the next truck comes - cber can't sponsor him right now in addition to the others. We can't let him go back to the lot!
Were any of the other TBs bailed? I can still put up half, but hopefully NanciK was able to put her half to someone else.
Last I heard a few days ago was that he was probably getting sick at the lot. Sam said his head isn't hanging so low now that he's at her place and he is looking much perkier.
I REALLY love this boy, but think he will be too hot for me. I need a solid husband horse right now. If no one can outright adopt him, I can probably help sponsor him. Is there anyone that can take a TB for retraining?

Beckybee - I don't know that any other offers have come up. You might want to contact his PS with your offer of sponsorship; we'll see if someone in WA can help with his training. There was an offer of training for any of the yearlings if they came to California...maybe that person would be interested in refreshing Cork?
We'd have to get donations to bring him down when he's done w/ QT. Nice, broke horses are EXPENSIVE in Cali.......
