Mallory - 1 y/o - 14.0hh+ - Grey QH Filly
Post by cybercat on Nov 15, 2006, 6:07pm
Mallory - 1 year old, 14.0h +/-, filly. Mallory is a sweet young horse with a great future! She is curious about receiving attention but not super willing to approach you unless you have some goodies for her. Mallory has a sweet and calm demeanor and she is halter broke and gentle . This filly was born with some enlarged veins on the side of her face, they do not affect anything and do not bother her but are noticeable.1/2 sister to the weanling, Melanie also lovely grey. She has nice size and nice legs and would make a really nice and pretty project. Purebred QH, but no papers available.

What complications can arise from enlarged veins? Weak venal walls? or are they just bigger and pose no future health hazards. Enquiring minds want to know.

I've been in touch with her ps and as long as her problems are only cosmetic I've offered this gal a home.
If those who donated to Donatella would like to help me with Mall and the funds are still available please let cber funds person know....not sure who that would be the ps handling her case right now is Deb while Heidi's away.
deblogstrom9@aol.com
Thanks, Sabrina
I'd be more than happy to take Melanie too but don't have the funds to get her leg corrected if it's even still an option....
If there's no hope for correction then I'll seriously consider....

I just checked the pull fund/bail tally thread on the main BB and it isn't showing Sharon's payment. Sharon, if you read this could you send a message to Mall's PS if your payment doesn't show up soon? It would be awful if it gets overlooked at the CBER store...
Thanks!

You guys are the greatest! These 2 gray beauties have been haunting me - I came THIS close to saying I'd take them myself (and trust me, my hands are full!)
In honor of the lovely ladies of the support board, I am heading over to the CBER store right now to post the remaining $77.50 for this girl.

Ramen? What Ramen? It's stale bread and water for me, mateys! But I think my girls will appreciate the reduction in my "bottom line", if you get the drift...!

Gratefullknits your awsome! Has Mall had any home offers yet. Is there a lucky person who gets to take this baby home?

Thanks kace! You too!
I've kind of lost track of whether or not she has a home offer; she darn well better or I may talk myself into one horse too many.
I just checked the pull fund/bail tally thread on the main BB and it isn't showing Sharon's payment. Sharon, if you read this could you send a message to Mall's PS if your payment doesn't show up soon? It would be awful if it gets overlooked at the CBER store...
Thanks!

no one has spilled the beans online yet, so the adopter may be someone who does not follow the BB...

I was informed that someone wanted to adopt them both and it was agreed that it be best if they stay together.
I am now trying to make up my mind between 2 other horses.....
