Hytyme, who are you using to trailer? Where is Hattie headed? There are a couple more cber horses I am waiting to hear about from Sam. I offered to trailer some of the FOB bailed ones home. I don't know who or how many may need a ride. I could probably take a couple.

I told Wayne I would take him and would call him in a couple days with trailer time frame. My word is final, so I did not pay him yet, but yea I am giving this horse a home. UNLESS of course someone else is in love with him as well, I will always step down and save another.

Ahh........finding good transport is the easy part. There is always breathing time for that, it is the "beat the truck" timing that drives me crazy..........that and never knowing what is going on behind the scenes. I am going to name this horse "Pirate"..........I really, really like him. Today an abused 20 year old Hackney pony with only a couple teeth left managed to get a great home around the corner from my main barn, this gave me the chance to fill that spot and this horse is next on my list. I had thought the Hackney would be with me for life, so it was really cool the ultimate place opened up for him. He will be companion to a 30 year old horse who eats the identical diet ;D. Plus, he will be close enough to see daily. I LOVE this job!!! And then another adopted TB finally moved out and into a fancy barn and we have that spot..........so Duke has a chance.

We have a four horse slant load trailer. For long hauling we have it set up as two box stalls. Possibly with smaller horses, we can haul three. Last year, we met Eileen (who is now the owner of CBER Matisse) in N.J. which worked out well...
