10 year old, 14.1h, bay gelding. Friendly, great eye, feet are not in good shape but traveled well on the rough terrain. He puts his head in the halter, leads and backs well in the halter. He was a little humpy when ridden, he probably is not used to being ridden bareback. He did not do anything dirty just a little fussy about being asked to leave his buddy. His living situation does not lend well to the most accurate assessment. Plow reined but needs work moving off leg. Was easy to handle and did not mind his ears being touched. He has a really cute face! He reminds of one of my neighbors old horses. Hope he finds a home!

This is a great little solid built horse, saw him today, hes super friendly and likes attention, sturdy enough to pack an adult, but smaller than a huge horse for a child. Nice guy.

I got lots of interest on him re my BAEN ad. I copied halfwayhome's comments and emailed them to all of those who had expressed interest in him.

Reina is in my neck of the woods - East Bay, California. I processed her adoption application, and not only used the references she supplied, but I got a bonus one as well from my trainer - who works at the track with her. Both of them have been working w/ the owners to place horses vs shipping them.
Nutmeg will have a great home with Reina - but she does need help w/ QT and hauling....expenses, i.e. getting him everything he needs when he's here (feed, supps, vet, farrier, etc) will not be a problem.

Hi Leah...I know...its awful to think about, but that's the reality of it...there is an adopter in the wings and she's working on her financing right now...let's see if she'll need your pledge or if we can move it to someone else...(I think Stratosphere is closest to making bail but her doesn't have a home offer yet...)
ALTHOUGH, I think jessiegirl is going to try for Destiny and she needs bail help in a hurry if that's the case...

I wish there were more activity on this horse.
He has an approved adopter and a great home awaiting him. She seems very committed to him - she contacted me a few times re my BAEN ad, followed up with the application, got approved and is now trying to get funding.
I know we're all strapped and our tax refunds are still out of reach, but small donations do add up and make a difference.
Someone, please, step up and help this little guy out.

hi all... just a quick update Spicy is an incredible pony clubber!!! He packed three different kids around a 2-6 course with not one stop!! This guy can really jump!! He also is good at polo-crosse and will be introduced to games next week. Pics coming soon! Reina
