Shirley Temple is back with CBER. She is about 19 year old, 15h liver chestnut Morgan cross mare. She is a very nice mare with excellent manners. She is broke to ride, easy to trailer, handles nice, leads, backs and automatically picks up her feet. She plow reins and is responsive in the halter.
UPDATE 3/2007: Shirley is doing great in her temporary home! While we haven't gotten a chance to get pictures of her being ridden, several people has ridden her. We have found that while she's sweet and quiet on the ground, she is very spunky and has a lot of energy and wants to go, go, go! There's nothing mean about her, but she would need an experienced rider who can handle an energetic horse. If you're looking for a fun, filled with spunk type of horse, Shirley would be it!
