One of the great things about running a rescue is the wonderful people we meet. Over the last 4 days after the article come out in the paper concerning us we have received several phone calls and emails expressing support for what we do. One lady even showed up with a few bags of senior feed and a new blanket. The following is an email I received this morning. A great way to start out the day!
I have been following your plight with the Gorge commission and while I knew a little about your operation I didn't know where you were located. I have been a professional horseman most of my 61 years as a trainer, breeder and working cowboy. Just retired as a professional farrier for the past 35 years. I do not know if I can be of any service to you folks in anyway but if I can please feel free to contact me. I live just out of Goldendale. Thanks, Jim ******

Oh wow! Isn't that great that someone else is stepping up to help when you don't expect it! I think so many people want to do good but just don't know where or how to get started...
