Well now there's two... :-) My baby was very sick when we got her and her mother and older sister. They were starving in a corral full of dirt. The vet said they were about a week out from dieing. Now I just found that the Mom is pregnant. She was starvng nursing a foal and pregnant. Poor girl people can be so cruel! but they are getting fat and sassy now..

I saw the cutest horse the other day. He was 13 hands tall, black, with 4 white socks and a big blaze. He was the CUTEST gaited pony I have ever seen! I asked the gal what he was and she said he was a Paso Fino. I had no idea they came in such cute small packages.

Hi Deb,
She is adorable, and she has grown alot since September!! I think we saw these three at the lot........Heidi showed them to us right after they arrived there. So glad you guys got them. There is some good that is done at the feedlot, and this was a good deed on the FLO's part - if its the same horses.....................
The owner should have received the same treatment he gave these horses. They were truly in horrible condition, and I am surprised they all made it. Hopefully the new baby will be okay too.

These are the same horses...They are all doing great and Sophie's mom Tasha is a love she will stand all day and be scratched and messed with..Little Sophie is the same way just a bundle of love.
There is good that comes from the feed lot..If Chuck had not stepped in and purchased these guys they would be dead. When we brought them home the Vet said they had about a week and they would have been gone. Such a shame!! Thanks to Heidi they got to come here and get healthy. The mare still has a bit to go on her top end but will be there soon..
This is what makes it all worth it!!
