FOUND ! Stolen Horse in Penngrove, CA

Hello everyone,

I have a beautiful 1/2 Friesian 1/2 AQHA Gelding Black 5 yr old some roaning on face (mainly on his muzzle) making him look like an old man, white star and has a very full and long tail, He does have some leg tufting and is of correct conformation. 15 - 15.2 h (not very tall and still growing) Started in Dressage. Loads, Clips, ties, He was let out of his pasture last night sometime between 7pm and 10 pm.

We know he was let loose because the lead rope we use to double secure his gate someone had removed and placed on the pipe corral next to his gate (no way a horse could do that one) we've notified the sheriff's dept. and animal control, so now we're asking you here if you've seen anything.

He was located in a pasture in Penngrove (Pepperwood & Cold Springs Road)

Great timing ---- right before weekend auctions. I'd say this horse was stolen.

I heard back from the owner; she has posted on netposse, and will contact Joe at TBFriends at my suggestion to see if he can give her the names of the local killbuyers ... She's alerted to the auction possibility also.
