No, he is not from CBER feedlot, he was from a local person needing to find a new home... I saw the post here from someone local to her and went to look. We took him on trial but he was not big enough for my daughter, and wasn't going to 'fit' for us, so I called to return him, and she wouldn't take him back! 'too full'... I wasn't sure what to do, but after some emails with her, and getting in writing that he was 'mine', I posted another ad here on RO, and found a perfect match for him!!! Kaycee is too cute on him, don't ya think? He is a middle aged (17 ish) pony, with lots of go, but extremely gentle and willing... loves attention.... and Kaycee is in Pony Club and needed a trusty steed under 14 hands who could take her not only to Pony Club, but ride the trails all over her local area, and go to shows! I think Mikey was a perfect match! I know, too good to be true... but it is! and phoey on the woman who just 'didn't have room any more'.... for the pony she 'loved so much, he is part of the family'. We made him part of the RO family now!!! Go Kaycee!!!

Mikey and Kaycee won first in Poles, 3rd in NSC Flags, 6th in Barrels and I am too tired to remember the rest!!! They placed in 5 out of 6 events, and will be going again next month--next weekend we are going to a 4-H show and the following weekend we are going to a trail event......I hope I have the steam to keep up with those 2!!!!

Adorable pair. I am always glad to see children (even in Western saddles) wearing a helmet.

Oh, BTW...The TB in the background is a rescue. She won $35,000+ on the track, then was dumped and starved....Isn't she beautiful? She was ridden at the play day for experience, she is absolutely stunning.....My kids ALWAYS wear a helmet while ridding...I should wear a helmet for every day life, but that's a different story
