www.prideequinerescue.org/The Pride Equine Rescue Mission Statement The Mission of P.R.I.D.E Equine Rescue is to, Rescue, Rehabilitate, and find new forever loving homes for each and every horse that comes into our care. Our trusted equine friends deserve to be cared for with the very best, not only veterinary and hoof care, but to be given love and everlasting companionship. We strive to give our equine friends the longer, happier and healthier life, that each and every one deserves. Where do our horses come from? We at P.R.I.D.E. accept all breeds of equines, including mules and donkeys. Many of our animals are handed over to us or donated to us due to owner health issues, or owners' inability to care for the animal any longer. Others come from seizures by the SPCA or law enforcement, in which the animals had to be removed. And most of our horse are rescued from the slaughter houses or low end auction yards, where they have been abandoned by the owners whom they loved. We also help to place horses in new homes for owners who can no longer keep them, to ensure that they never end up in a bad sitiuation.
