I have two horses that need a loving home. I have serious health problems and must use all my available financial resources to pay medical bills! These horses will make great companion animals for nervous or stressed Horses who are lonely.
Sunny: A 15.2 hand Thoroughbred Gelding, Blood Bay in color, who has done it all. He is 23 years old and is RETIRED. This horse have given me many years of dedicated service. Drill Team, 4-H, gaming, trail riding etc. He has one foot that has alway been tender, and cannot be ridden any longer. Small children on a lead line are okay. My grandkids call him the "Teacher". He is sweet and affectionate, but is also the "Big Man" of the pasture. He must be with other horses. He shouldn't be stalled as he develops a bad cribbing habit. He loves to be out of doors and is a medium to hard keeper. He does not tolerate being heavy (because of his feet) and must be kept on the trim side.
Spot: A 14.1 hand BLM mare that has rockets for feet. This is a top ten gaming mare that only knows two speeds, standing still and full out. She would be best served by an advanced rider who wants to WIN. She is sweet but has some quirks. She does not like Men in general, but acts like a puppy dog around my husband. She must be bathed by a bucket as she was likely whipped with a hose because she hates seeing one. I have always been successful with her by just being patient. She is a VERY easy keeper and MUST be monitored. I keep her fit but not fat.
Both horses have been out to pasture for 3 years and will take some patience to get socialized to you. I love these animals and hate to part with them. But the reality is that the Doctors and Hospitals want their money. All potential owners will be heavily screened! So be ready to demonstrate your knowledge!
If you would like to look at them please call (360)772-5186.
