some days it is overwhelming, I am a single mom, 3 kids 2 grandkids, one full time and one part time job and am out taking care of the 4 legged kids twice a day every day, thats a minimum of 1.5-2 hours everyday including commute, but not including cleaning and training. My rental land may be in jeopardy, very worrisome since I have 3 new rescues so now is 8 and now I might have to find a place and move. Lets say i am stressed.... just a little.
Yesterday on my drive up to the farm I have all of this on my mind and was told a fence is down and 3 horses are out... what awaits me???
well....... I drive up and see the 3 escapees waiting outside the corrals, they turn and see me driving up and come running to my truck!! talk about a welcome , I got out and was greated with nickers that in turn set off the works of them, just me there but 11 horses all loudly joining in a verbal "glad to see you" I spent the next 20 min feeding treats to my babies
Just had to share.... it made my day, and all the work worth it
