Sorry I haven't updated lately, but here we go.... Sitka had (the word is had) a halter on and we got a lead rope too...She's rope smart and will lead a little..Doesn't kick or over protective of Aurora (baby)...Grandkids play with Aurora, feeds them and no aggressiveness... She has gained weight and is cleaning up...Very pretty pair...Little Aurora (not little really) is almost as tall as mom...
Sitka came off the Colville tribal nation...She looks mustang like..Aurora is lighter color w/white socks and may have some spots coming on (watching)...
They will be up for adoption...Someone who knows a wild horse...RO aproved...

That big star looks like a thought bubble you should write something in it LOL! They are both beautiful. Sitka sure does look like a 'stang. Thanks Chatty, great job!

Like the fencing ?..Had to put up something to keep her from going through the wire fencing...She respects panels, but like a wild horse any type of wire won't hold them... That area was the dogs (go's from house to barn) and the wire to keep Min Schnauzers in, not much...But the back yard got mowed...

The thought bubble says: "I will be weaned soon, and will need a new home!" Sitka is pretty young, and may still grow a bit. Mustangs are notoriously slow growing, some as long as 6 years before everything finishes up. Pal grew that long. We got him at 5, and he came up another .2 hands in a year before he stopped. Been stuck at 14.1 for 2 years, so guess he's done now.

Aurora eat about half as much as her mom...Nurses now and then, but most of the time munching.... One or both would be wonderful to add to your family....
NO adoption fees....All vet check, hooves, brand inspection will be done before hand...Transportation is it...Cost of fuel now days is a big fee...

Oh I do, I do! I'd take both of them in a heart beat if I had the means to care for 2 more! I've been asking around though and will continue doing so

Camas is a pretty girl. Wish we had more room. Once Gypsy has a new home, we can talk. Still trying to find a husband type horse. Gypsy is years away from being calm enough for Brian to ride, and I have 2 to pick from that he is too big to get on. Not that Pal would even let Brain put a saddle on him....

I know and Reno would be to much of a horse for him....Duchess (QH mare) is a big girl, but aged...Serafini (yo filly) and Mocha (1yo) are to young...And our girl Camas, sweet, shy, bottom of the herd...

Do you think Camas could pack a 340 lb. rider plus tack? And not pitch him in the dirt when he doesn't know what his cues are? Cuz that is what my Brian needs. Lord have mercy, I learned on a wild one, and don't know what to do with one that doesn't snort-prance at everything. But Brian, well....horse stupid. He doesn't understand "Don't balance yourself with the reins, fool, those are for steering....! You're pulling back, that means stop....that's why the horse isn't moving, dufus." Etc....sigh.

Yup, paid a trainer to do lessons with him. She gave up on first day....he needs a horse that knows it's job and just ignores him and follows me on my horse.
