6/18/2008: Need to give away approx 100-150 horses- ranging in age from weanlings, yearlings, to adults, due to drought and owners health. Please email me at address shown. Thank you
6/19/2008: Thank you for replying. The breed is mostly pasofino cross. Location, we are located in Virginia, in the Southwest corner, we are close to Kentucky on one side, TN on the other side, in the coals fields so to speak, approximately 40 miles from the TN. state line. We are about 25-30 miles from interstate 81. Training I really dont know. Health is good, time frame is closing in, because of the drought for the last 2 summers, and buying hay to feed all these horses for well over 2 years now. No one is buying horses in this area, you can't even give them away. If you take them to the market you end up having to write the market a check instead of receiving one. I have emailed several horse rescue places, you and one other place have answered. We can send pictures if you would like. These horses are not neglected or malnourished but are in danger of slaughter. Please reply. Thank you
6/20/2008: [Question: Are they trained/handled ?] No, there are some brood mares with foals at side that are halter broke only. Sorry I wish I could say they were.
