That's great, Dean. I hope it works out. I remember her at the lot when I went to check out and then pick up Jester. Boy was she sick and not looking well. I'm glad she is healthy and now has a good home.

Yay Gleed! Is an alfa mare, like an alfalfa mare, but without the al? Wow that was a long time coming, but I am glad she's found a home with people who appreciate her for who she is!

LOL, anyone who wonders why I work with Appaloosas, just has to see me try to tell chestnut horses apart. I have actually mistaken Gleed for Axle... and boy, that is the WRONG mistake to make. But, hey, room for Axle plug! Axle is available for adoption! Axle is sweet! Axle is sound! Axle is well broke! Axle is really really really nice. If I was going to have a TB it would definitely be AXLE.

Ummm ya, it was getting dark, I wasn't paying attention other than looking for a sorrel with a fat stomach. I opened up the gate to let Tasha play with Axel and Tash almost had her head taken off. Oppps. It was the wrong horse, it was Gleed. OK, she has a fat stomach like Axel and is the same color. hehe Gleed Lot: Gleed now:

Gleed needs a new name, maybe like Lady Tank.
Axel looks awesome!

She's not fat - she's just fluffy. cough* cough*
Yes, Gleed was extremely sick. I am surprised she even made the trailer ride over. I had no idea just how sick she was till she got here. We had an IV in her and meds within a half hour. I slept in the stall with her for 2 days. They didn't want to bring her into the hospital due to strangles.

Yes, I can attest to how sick she was, I was the one who met the hauler at the lot then for her. She almost fell down getting into the trailer she was so weak and she was burning hot. We had no other options at the time, it was her last hope as I feel she would have died that night on the lot, and no one else wanted her or could take her as she had not even been handled much at the time. The other horses in the group she came in with were shipped to slaughter, she was the only one that even was saved. I was extremely worried about her haul, but she made it over TG and from there, thanks to dedicated nursing, she was saved
