We were out at the stabeles today and Barb suddenly didn't feel well. By the time she got to the truck she was feeling really bad. We gave her some water but still didn't look good so we met her hubby at St Marys and she is there now being checked out! All the way there she kept saying she was sorry we had to leave to take her... I told her to shut up it was no big deal, it was too hot to do much anyway! She just gave me a good excuse to leave.

I called Brad and he said she is feeling a bit better, and they are waiting to speak to the Dr.
We went out together as I have some of mine at the same place she keeps hers. We were reading Tequillas brand
She had just shaved it and I read it when she started feeling bad.
I called BLM and got Tequillas info
Born 94, captured at 2, adopted in 97, and she is from .......
DRUM ROLL.......
Warm Springs !!!
They are mailing her out some paperwork since the guy she bought her from didn't bother getting any before he sold her to Barb.

Hey barbp - My thoughts are with you, so many of us are feeling the stress of economic conditions, trust me, you're not alone! But we are all so relieved to hear that it's not as serious as it could have been, from a health perspective.
My favorite motto right now is ... "Fix, and go forward" ... since we can't control so many of the things that are impacting our lives, just focus on what you CAN control and try to forget the rest ... then keep moving foward, one step at a time.
We're thinking of you, and please know that we're all here to support you!

Barb - so glad to hear it wasn't a heart attack - not that the anxiety attack is good thing, but better than a heart attack! I know I have felt the pinch of hay prices, food prices, gas prices, oh yeah, and did I mention that hubby and I are both in the mortgage business? Not a good time to both be on straight commission!!! My motto is 'It is what it is' and I just have to deal the best I can with it.
Let us know if we can help you...............

One thing that really helps me is Yarrow and Gorse flower essences . They take the edge off when life gets overwhelming.

Hey, Barb! I know exactly what acute anxiety attacks are like! I had a lot of them in 2000 after I was in the hospital for 7 weeks, almost died, was in a coma...anyway, my neurosurgeon thought they were epilepsy attacks...! So, I spent a week in the hospital with wires to my brain, and, voila! no epilepsy. I suspected then they were anxiety attacks because I had had them many years before, but, not as severe. So, I found a specialist and he did a few tests and diagnosed them as anxiety attacks.
My health insurance paid for a 12 week Body/Mind seminar and I learned the Deep Breathing Technique in a very short time. I was able to stop the anxiety attacks just as they began, and, after a few weeks I was able to prevent them by doing the DBT every day. Performing the DBT at night also helps me fall asleep if I think I might be having trouble sleeping.
I found out that the main reason I was having anxiety attacks was because I was stuffing all the things I was worrying about and wasn't confronting them. Now, I do...I sit down and think things over and even write some of it down. I haven't had an anxiety attacks for a few years now.
Rescue Remedy works, too (I also use it for my Borzoi during the fireworks season)...and, valerian works, too...

I second the deep breathing. It is really helpful. And the rescue remedy. I think boys are way easier to sell than girls. I hope good homes turn up easily for them!
