My boss's mare lost her foal yesterday. She called me this mourning asking me if I knew of anyone who needed a nurse mare. The mare stands to be milked. She may take a orphaned foal. She will loan her out to anyone who needs her as long as they care for the mare and show her to people as she is for sale. She asked me to ask around and since so many foals seem to be orphaned this year I thought I would throw it out there. If you are interested let me know and I will give you her number. The mare is a 12 year old sorrel trakehner.
