Washington Draft Horse and Mule Assoc. wdhma.org/cgi-bin/view/Main/WagonTrain2007 Wagon Train The 21st annual WDH&MA Wagon Train will take place in the hills close to Ellensburg at an elevation between 2,500ft and 5,000 ft. It will start the afternoon of Wednesday, June 20 and finish the afternoon of Sunday, June 24. The Wagon Train is open to: teamsters with wagons, carts, and buggies; outriders with saddle and/or pack horses; pilgrims who walk the trail or catch a ride on a wagon or horse. All are welcome. Bill Burvee will again be catering the trip, so nobody has to wash dishes or worry about sour milk or broken eggs and you’re always sure of a hearty meal. We usually travel about 12 miles per day (more or less) depending on the terrain. Those who are interested in being part of this annual event, contact: John Erskine, phone number: 360/794-4037, or Woody Hoopes, phone number: 425/788-4414. Ask anybody who has participated in a previous wagon train and they will tell you that the scenery is great and it is a terrific way to enjoy your horses/mules, vehicles, and friends. Hope to see you in the hills and share the trip with you! The Wagon Train Crew
