Such a nice horse! What are the training issues with her?
If we offered free training could you keep her?

She has fear issues that need to be worked through. I have been in the saddle to see how she does but she gets fearful as soon as you put your foot up to mount she did okay at the walk and I trotted her but the lope ended in her bucking and I ended up on the ground nothing serious it was more my fault than anything I wasn't paying attention. But she does need someone who will put some hours into her working her and desensitization. She is great with farrier work and has been shoed with no problem. She does not like clippers to much though. On the ground she is great and listens well. I was hoping to find her a forever home that will use her she has speed and would probably do well as a gaming horse or barrel horse.

She has always been a fav of mine to look at...
Chester is still humpy at a lope under saddle , so... we don't ride him at a lope!
Angi;s orders are he is to be walked and trotted, hopped off and loped from the ground. Remounted for more walk & trot. When he stops humping with the empty saddle only then will he be ridden at a lope.
Works for us ;D

Penny, you should speak to your vet about putting her on Fluphenazine!! That may help her through her issues, and is relatively inexpensive! It's basically horsie prozac!! I have a horse with serious issues on it (2cc once a month).

well... those kind of training things are my speciality (or should I say, just what I'm good at) when it comes to training. AND I would love to have a barrel horse. Especially a pretty quarter horse with a cute head. She's a cutie. There should be quite a few people out there interested in a horse like this. Good luck finding that perfect home!
