'Do-gooders' deprive poor of horse meat

Throughout human history, we have relied on animals and fish to provide our principal source of vital body-building food protein. There is a stealthy move under way by self-appointed "do-gooders," led by the Humane Society of the U.S. (HSUS) to deprive us of this source.
In a decision of unequaled stupidity, the Supreme Court struck a major economic blow against the poor and politically weak, many of whom relied on low cost horse protein, both here and overseas. This "victory" of the HSUS is another step in a long war to deprive all of us of cows, steers, pigs, sheep, goats, turkeys, chickens, ducks and fish.
The HSUS lobbied for a law in the radical leaning Illinois legislature to prevent the butchering of no-longer-useful horses as alleged "cruelty." By design, the law was kept secret, but the Illinois court upheld it. It was appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court, who also upheld it on the basis of one single instance of mistreatment of a butchered horse.
Billions of animals are butchered throughout the world yearly - perfection does not exist in the world; but the self-appointed "do-gooders" of the HSUS are exultant - saying that all forms of animal protein foods may eventually be banned.
This is a form of persecution by the powerful against the economically disadvantaged, and also against our domestic animals, many of whom rely on horse-meat byproducts.
Opponents of this irrational ban on horse meat were defeated by the judges of the U.S.

Supreme Court; we know that many of these judges are substantially isolated from reality by their lifetime terms in soundproof and heavily carpeted, air-conditioned offices. These abusive decisions are becoming more frequent every year.
While we cannot easily change the Constitution, which "sort of" mandates a life term for these irrational judges, there is a provision in Article III, section 2 which very clearly and specifically gives Congress the power to decide what rules the courts must obey, and it thus gives this same Congress the power to decide what kind of cases the court cannot review. The problem is that we all know what kind of people we have in Congress; and we know that short of a thunderbolt striking the Capitol dome, Congress will continue to shirk its constitutional responsibilities towards the court, as it has for 228 years.
