Thank you everyone. I love these two girls and would like to place them together as I think Molly deserves to be with her last daughter for the rest of her life. This mare has been through hell in the past and deserves the best of care in the future. She had too many ticks to count and was severely undernurished while pregnant. In fact when I adopted her I didn't think she would have a live baby.

Penny, you really have done a wonderful job with these two, bless you! Can you remind us all about Molly, as far as what is known of her age, breed, training, etc. ? I'm sure not a lot is known, but it just may help us find them that perfect forever home. and when was baby born? MTA: OOPS, I just noticed her birthdate on your last post!

Molly is suppose to be around 19yo but I did not have my vet age her teeth so I am not sure of her age. She appears to have the Quarterhorse jaw and is muscling up pretty good with gaining weight. I rode her in a halter bareback and she did alright a little rusty but appeared to be trained. I also put my english saddle on her and she did okay she does appear to need bit work as she was rusty with this. I put my western saddle on her she was not comfortable with it so I did not ride her probably a bad fit.

So anyone interested in these pretty girls. I now have lost my extra 12 acre pasture as of today they are selling so I am continueing to look for new property to lease I have my own but just not enough for all of them. If you are interested in a baby and momma they are a wonderful pair Adisa has a beautiful refined head and is just as sweet as pie.

I rode Molly again last night she did wonderfully. First I worked with her in the long lines to get her more savvy with the bit again and then put on the English saddle and off we went. She walked trotted (she has a very nice trot you can sit no bouncing) ;)and backed very well I will be working with her on cantering (I haven't tried her with it yet) she did excellent. Adisa was a little distracting as she did not want to follow along. Molly does well with a snaffle and English saddle I have also rode her bare back and she did well with that. My western saddle did not fit her well so we did not try to push that. If anyone wants a wonderful mare and baby come check her out.

I rode Molly again yestarday she did excellent I was riding bareback, she trotted and cantered very well no bucking or misbehaving at all. I worked with her on leg commands and it looks like she knows some of them but is just a little rusty.
