Duchess has this skin rash (I thought) on her hind quarters...Tried every thing to soften it up, so the hair will grow back..  . Today my farrier was here and he looked at it....She's been shot with bird shot.  ..Not a rash.... Hairs not going to grow back and Bob said he'd check it to see if it still had pellets under the skin... Dummy me, never thought about the pattern of it.... chatty |

You can have any vet do a quick x-ray to check for shot. Some people P*** me off. How cruel is it to do something like that.

The sad thing, she came in with this rash (I thought is was a rash) and have been treating it for a year...Yes, treated it as you do for any skin problem...It heald and looks so-so, like a big rash...
Now I know some of her trust problems....
+ everyone that's looked at her for adoption thinks she between 5-10 yo...When I tell them she's 20-22, they say "to old"....SHE'S A NICE GIRL

Dummy you? For never imagining that another human being could be this cruel? I don't think so! I'd say you are a perfectly intelligent person who just couldn't fathom such a level of cruelty. Poor little sweet heart girl. I'm thinking maybe we should start our own lynch mob...
