Whoa, Nelly! ;D What does the sire look like? She's as cute as a button but she looks like a ghost next to Mom! Congratulations, now I guess we can't tease you that your mare just ate too many watermelon seeds!

It does look like she might be something.. I see the hint of color to come. Just remember they shed out darker, so I could see maybe red dun or champagne Or a Dunalino?? Champagnes come in all colors.. and can end up looking much like a sooty or chocolate palomino With the dun gene, the red does not completely dilute where they will have dun markings. Most of them I see are registered as Red Dun. But Dean did not mention a dorsal and while we look at stripes and wonder if they are a dun... on my Bay Dun babies there was no doubt! You KNOW it's a Dun! Red Duns can be a bit iffy because they are still red. Red mane, Red stripe, Red body, and since babies are light at first anyway... It does not look (in the pics anyway) Like her mane is fully red, nor fully white.... and her eyes look amber (which is a champagne trait) The inside of those ears are sure red.

If we didn't know mom was a horse I'd might say she looks like a hinny. Baby ears always look big So she has no darker red stipe?

You evil darn women! Now - not all of us has a perfect set of ears when we are born! LOL
Actually - alot of our QH babies have giant ears when they are first born - take a picture of her at around 2 weeks and I bet she looks MUCH more horse like! I am still banking she is a red dun with very muted dun factor.
Bad bad women - she is gonna get a complex - She aint no mule!!! LOL
