It' not just the ears that give pause, it's the legs, the back and withers, the shape of the head, the color distribution....I think you have mule there! What an awesome surprise!

Husband LOVES Palominos, so MustangAppy might have to throw a hat in the ring. You'd never see us. I would send Paladin. He would sneak in and slip away with her under darkness....he blends right in (have to flip the mane over the freeze brand for full stealth mode). And because he is short, he can keep the baby hidden from view by staying between her and prying eyes....right up to the horse trailer and away to Idaho! He is an expert equine thief, according to his former owner, who used to find him rounding up the neighbors horses ;D.
